Since 2023, the university has been working with residents of the Central, Valleys, and Lakes regions to monitor water quality. In the context of the crisis facing the Guadalajara Metropolitan Area, Héctor Morales says that citizens must be vigilant about the services they receive and get involved in issues vital to the city.

They transform tomato farming waste into biodegradable textiles

A team of students from ITESO won the Next Gen Leaders league of the Enactus Mexico competition with this initiative, called Trash to Treasure, which promotes the talent of young university students to develop inclusive and sustainable projects.
